Mt. Madjaas in Culasi, Antique is the highest mountain in
Panay Island.It is also one of the most challenging
climbs in the Visayan islands. This majestic mountain measures about 2,117
meters high above sea level. It is situated along the mountain range running north-south in
direction that separates the Province of Antique from Iloilo and Aklan.Mt.
Madjaas have a unique trail variety. You could see series of beautiful
waterfalls in this mountain.There are also flowers along the trail of the
mountain like the “rafflesia flower”
which is said to be endemic to Antique,Philippines.
